LOVE how the shadows fall across the jagged, cold stones,no thought of a more comfortable place to lie...shadows are cool like that. Good luck on your insane bike trip-You are brave!!! Insanely brave!
linda sue . . . i'm glad you liked this. i sure hope you got my thankyou note for supporting my insane bike ride. i loked over the map last night to see the route. oh brother! i'm nervous as it is but looking at it like that - well it'll be a good test of what my 53 year old body can do, accept, and then recover from!!! steven
I grew up in the land of pine trees...as a kid, I thought there were only two kinds: pines and my Grandma's Dogwood. :)
Pines and I have a small disagreement in the spring when the pollen makes me sneeze, but then I go back to enjoying their straw for my flower beds and the cones make a great bird feeder for children to put together.
hope i've always loved the sound of wind through a pine forest. the smell and the feel of old needles. the space between the trees. tough about the pollen for you. steven

The shadows are warming so your northern spring is well underway.
