it's amazing to look back over the lives of our life jo. the stages that for editing purposes, rise above the rest and yet the change is an ongojng process. steven
We're like storybooks - we begin on the earth and we end on this earth, and in the middle of the book our story unfolds - but did the idea of us pre-exist, as a story does in the mind of its author? Or did we arrive unthought of, except in our own minds and make up our stories as we go along? Or are we a combination of both? Does it matter if we know the answers to such questions? I'd love to sit on the bench you sometimes photograph and have a conversation about life with you!
pauline - boy it's early in the morning here . . . snow fell in the night. the form my life takes is what's necessary to continue the emergence of the soul. there's an aspect of narrative to its surface features. i think that wondering about life is a feature of the need - it's necessary for some to have a sense of the journey - almost like a pointed stick to keep focussed. so questions are useful as they guide and direct that return. i've only known questions for as long as i can remember and it's only in the last few years that answers - as dynamic as an answer can be mind you, but answers all the same, have started to take form. steven
hi reya, the header is a photograph i took just a couple of days ago while following the river on part of my walk home. there's a clear stretch of water appeared while the rest is still covered in snow and ice. it snowed here last night - the marshmallow fluff kind of snow!!!! steven
Beautiful snowy photo! "and keep leaving it behind" GREAT! That's what we are supposed to do, we really have no choice. I feel like leaving it behind at the moment- still knocked down with a vicious bug. I hope that this little episode gives me super powers to fight off all others...stay well!

Like shedding the exoskeleten. We are ever changing...if we are aware
Forever reinventing ourselves.
I was only just last night photographing clouds...expect some soon from the Southern Hemisphere!

Love the new banner. It could be sand and sea but my guess is, it's snow.
Of course I love the words, too. In and out of existence, breath by breath.

Love the new header as well...even though I'll miss "the little man." :)
This made me think of snow at the beach, a rare site that actually occurred in SC a few years back.
Lovely, thought provoking words.

I like the double entendre of the word, "becoming" for those of us who can stay with the flow are becoming in both senses of the word.
exactly.
love the new header.
So what i am going through at the moment... part of reclaiming myself, by letting parts of myself go... Re-inventing, dis-guarding... finding myself
No truer words...
(love these)
