Imagine what our vistas would be without skies. Your header with the cloudy sky and draping branches with berries and autumn leaves is very beautiful, and unusual!
Clouds and wings go well together Steven. And southwards to me suggests winter is on its way.
hi delwyn and thankyou. i took this picture very near where i teach. i'm standing by the bank of a river that flows past a very old and beautiful cemetery that is one of my "places i go to find peace and quiet again in myself". i only had a point-and-shoot with me so the quality of the image is not as good as with my regular camera, however several scenes including this one were present and i'm glad that i was also! steven

elisabeth - there are lots of geese still doing practice flights but still more are purposefully making their way south because they can feel the changes are heading in one direction much like them! steven

reya - hey thankyou! the bike and everything with it is such a metaphor for so much more and i know you know that. it'll last until the snow flies here and then i have decisions to make that are more respectful of my earthly tenure than my need for freedom and all the other needs that biking addresses for me. i saw that the east coast is going to get some snow and it seems early for that but it is what it is and it gives your brothers and sisters a chance to have a good look at their cabins and see what they need for the winter soon to be arriving! steven

hello weaver! i think it would be amazing to hold a form and then pass through other forms. i think it would be amazing to be completely aware of your place in the very big cycles. i think that water contains a form of intelligence that connects to everything. the body i am inside is mostly water that once passed around this world as a cloud. steven
