the quiet place:
entirely present in the instant
fluid in the long now

Wave or particle... such a mystery—just over the horizon of our ability to comprehend ultimate reality, at least in ordinary waking consciousness. Much easier to comprehend is the long now, the only time that ever was or ever will be: NOW. So few words evoke so much thought.

(I will say that listening to the clip from Brian Eno, glitch, over on flow enriched this post.)

it's a borrowed term ruth. the long now foundation actually posits projects and possibilities that extend over very long periods of time. i like to use "the long now" as a label to encapsulate the notion of the ever expnading moment. steven
