blu - combo

long-time visitors to the golden fish
will know that i deeply admire the work of street artist "blu".
blu's work is staggering
in its complexity and cleverness.

two qualities that i admire in almost anything or anyone.

speaking of "two".
for some reason this film duplicates itself
at around the four and a half minute mark.
so bail if you're done, or stick around for a second showing!!!

this piece was shot in italy over a period of ten days.
enjoy the journey!!!

Wow! I have never seen anything like that!! Worth the first showing and then I couldn't help but watch the second showing. My favorite part is the skull that transforms out of the talking wall. Genius. Thank you!

I love it that on my screen, the widescreen video includes your profile pic. Very cool!

When I was first considering going to see the Sufi acupuncturist, I spent a lot of time among the evergreens at the Arboretum. They really helped me get into the energy of needles and all the powers that needles can communicate. That has nothing to do with your post, but the bit on evergreens in your sidebar.

How is this even possible , particularly in Italy where permits are impossible to obtain...I can't even get my half bath painted, and I don't even need a permit- only need one colour, one brush but there it is- undone.
This clip is spectacular!

wow steven! Brilliant clip, thanks. So many memorable sections, but I think I loved the drainpipe bug and the melting man most. Really unusual, entertaining viewing.

hey reya - looks like you got a big grab bag over at the golden fish today! it's the evergreens who keep my colour hungry eyes alive through the winter months when there's beauty for sure but it's tiny and tucked away and you really have to sensitize your eyes to the tiniest flicker of red or blue or yellow. i'm glad you took off on jenny stevning's friend's comment that i posted up for all to see. it's really really good. have a peaceful dc evening. steven

linda sue it's the miracle of the creative force!!! somehow it circumvents the ordinary, the epxected, the must-be-done-this-ways that clutter up our lives. i get what you mean trust me. there's no light in my bedroom - why? 'cause there's no lightbulbs that's why . . . . . . ummmmmmmm......! steven
