many readers will be familiar with the form of this story - both the images and the text - and it will provide them (as it did me) with a brief respite from the heady cerebralizations of the texts we currently fill our days with! from innocent beginnings . . .
to not so innocent moments in the thick of the plot . . .
to happy endings . . .
so slip back in time to when you were very young and picture books like ”punky dunk and the goldfish” could be read to you over and over and you never tired of them.
