the youthful taste of spring

the pillow's low, the quilt is warm, the body smooth and peaceful,
sun shines on the door of the room, the curtain not yet open.
still the youthful taste of spring remains in the air,
often it will come to you even in your sleep

Hi Steven...i left my warm quilt this morning as most mornings and walked in the frost and chill air but somehow things were different...i felt the optimism of the start of a new season..the flowers blooming and in the sky the first swallow swooping and diving over fields filled with new born lambs..it filled me up...your poem by bai juyi seems so right!!!...xx kay

kay - we're hovering on a transition . . .and there are so many in spring . . .they slip off the pinnacle of the moemnt over and over . . . and today there's one that has warmth and moisture and black cherry blossoms somehow merging in the air . . . steven
