"let the beauty we love be what we do" rumi
Is there a self?Really?
me too!!..who is that woman??
dan i think my self is as real as the reflections in the water and just as transient . . . steven
kay - ha!!! i sometimes catch my reflection unawares and watch with amusement as it tries desperately to get out of the line of sight! steven
as though we are twoat least:)and so i wonder on these twothe one who resides in the bodyand the one who resides through the bodyxoerin
I've decided that the person that looks back at me from the mirror is certainly not me.
More and more this is true for me as I ease my way in the few years left to 50! Beautiful header photo - purple-blue mountains... amazing.
Excellent; that's exactly how it is. If the day ever comes when we look in the mirror and see no more than we expect, that's the day to pack it in.
erin - at least two! there was another beside myself, watching me today. this is a rare occurence and affords me the luxury of listening to and watching steven as he teaches. steven
ellen - ha! i look and don't see what i expected but definitely what i got, which is apparenyl what i need! steven
valerianna - thankyou for the ups for the header. it's on the northeast slope of mt. tremblant, quebec . . . about two weeks ago! steven
friko - i appreciate this advice!!!! steven
I much prefer the idea of multiple selves - if I was stuck with the crone who looks back at me from the mirror I would despair!
oh my God pauline i laughed out loud at this you beautiful woman!!! steven
