well, yes and this also . . . .

i know myself well
and then also
i am astonished
at the person who arrives
so unexpectedly
and looks back at me
from the mirror

as though we are two

and so i wonder on these two
the one who resides in the body
and the one who resides through the body

I've decided that the person that looks back at me from the mirror is certainly not me.

More and more this is true for me as I ease my way in the few years left to 50!

Beautiful header photo - purple-blue mountains... amazing.

Excellent; that's exactly how it is. If the day ever comes when we look in the mirror and see no more than we expect, that's the day to pack it in.

erin - at least two! there was another beside myself, watching me today. this is a rare occurence and affords me the luxury of listening to and watching steven as he teaches. steven

I much prefer the idea of multiple selves - if I was stuck with the crone who looks back at me from the mirror I would despair!
