a rainy winter day

i'm a passenger
on the rolling wheels of this day

the last one of this year

and i'm entirely content
to see the world
through these rainy windows

tonight the old calendar will be taken down
and a new one put in its place

i'm good with
the extraordinary gifts and blessings
as well as the challenges
that have come to my place in this world

i'm good with it all

thankyou

Sounds as though you are content to move forward in whatever way it comes, Steven, weatherwise that is. even through the rain splattered windows.

Happy New year. Here in Australia we're almost there.

And as I flip the page of my calendar, I shall wave at you...according to my weather man, through a window splattered with rain.

Happiness to you and yours always.

hope thankyou very much. i'll be waving and smiling at that point in the evening. it's supposed to be raining here also. i always open the front door at midnight to let the old year go back in time and the new one to get a head start . . . i don't mind rain at all - in fact in the winter it's a treat for me! have a joyous and creative year coming. steven

Dearest Mr. Inspiration- I would so like to be you, but I am too short and round and too much of a moaner...You do take us to places worthy of considering - of making it a heart beat, a breathing- I may get there one day, as effortlessly as you- slide into the calm and knowing place, that place of beauty and wonder that is is Steven. Thank you for your amazing blog and for being alive at the same time I am. You're SWELL!Cheers!

Steven! It is a pleasure to visit here, to view and enjoy the photos, and to parse words so sparse...

Thank you also for your whole attitude and outlook on life, in those words: "I'm good with it all."

Sometimes--most of the time, I'm like that too.

hello dulce - an angel - well i've never been described that way. a first!
i've been gifted with great fortune - fortune which has looked a lot like suffering at times, like incredible gifts at others. to arrive at a place that allows me to say in all truth that i am good with that and to share that state with others including yourself is one of those gifts. i feel fortunate to have met you. there's a quality about your writing and about the energy drawn towards your writing that i like to be near. i wish you a joyous, creative, challenging and fulfilling new year. steven
