cler achel

some music
i feel in my head
some in my tummy
some in my chest
and some in my hips

this piece - cler achel -
carries its presence in all four

from tinariwen who were also featured last month right here

the words:

cler achel

jklerh achel udwer ehadh
i spent the day and still the following night,

jklerh achel udwer ehadh
I spent the day and still the following night,

lerh azaman iglaerh
i spent a whole day travelling

lerh azaman iglaerh
i spent a whole day travelling

tigila mela tigilat har takanarh am nounou
you've gone mila you've already gone and i've plunged deeper into my dreams

anizdjoum djerh atat diktoh ihal falas oulhin
whatever my thoughts, she occupies them all and my heart cries out still.

chorus
kay ebedhoun de amarhanak erhik tarhet
it's a time that separates the beloved from those they love

warhak dakhim sel inizdjam ed tid tekted
and when you think of them, painful obsessive thoughts are all that come.

Great piece - I thought I'd listen to a snippet before going to sleep, but couldn't turn it off... I'll be swaying in my dreams....

Thank you- I need this music for my studio, I would produce lively wonderments listening to this- I played it over and over this evening- trance dance through the kitchen...Thank you again!

Wow! I could read this over and over...

I love this part: "you've already gone and i've plunged deeper into my dreams"

Time separates us from...every thing...in time. :(

Thank you for sharing this, Steven. I had not had the joy and pleasure of knowing it before now.

Have a wonderful rest of the week, what's left of it.

I can hear the lonely sound of distant travels in the rhythm.

Been reading more than commenting but I loved the music of this! Now I've got it stuck in my head...infinitely better than the commercial jingle lodged in there from yesterday. :)

Have a good weekend!
