after tumbling down the side of a himalayan mountain

we have come from very far

Every one of your musical selections this week has been spectacular (in my opinion). Thank you!!

The cloud people are talking to you? I bet they have so many wonderful things to say. May they bring good news into the summer of trudging through pudding! May it be so.

Steven, clouds are my mountains, my Himalayas. It is also an adventure of the mind and heart to imagine where clouds have been, who and what have breathed this air. Only connect.

I love the way that clouds give the impression that they have come round the world to get to us. Yet really they are such ephemeral things, coming and going in the air. Nice words Steven and nice photos.

When I was young I always watch hownthe clouds move while lying on the beach or floating on the water. I knew that there will come a time that I will see them in a different form and place. When the Mt. Pinatubo erupted and it went on to different parts of the world, I said to myself again that a proof that clouds can be seen somewhere else.

And here I am now, seeing the clouds exactly at the opposite side of the world.

Hope that the words of the clouds to you sir is bearing good news for the whole world.

Love those pictures.

As a child, I thought that I could see God in the clouds. These pictures make me think of the word "celestial."

I feel like I'm floating in the clouds with music in the background.

Wheeee! Clouds are fun! We so rarely get them here- just a sky full of grey flannel at best! For the past couple of days you have been on my mind- clouds in a blue sky have been the impetus for those Steven-ish thoughts. You would love the sky here- though brief- so dramatic, bright and imaginative.

I think we are nearer than we believe... so far is so near... nearer than the clouds.

reya - the music is music that entered my life in the last thirty years or so and has somehow magically stayed ... fresh and meaningful and still filled with messages. like the clouds!!! steven

ruth - it's entirely an adventure and when i think about the entirety of cloud's experiencing i'm drawn into the entirety of connectedness and history of this wholeness. it's incredible to think of water, a limited finite resource - passing through the bodies of so many and so much. steven

weaver - they are entirely ephemeral. i watch them form and dissolve right before my eyes! it's what they carry and contain that intrigues me. stories, histories, futures. steven

jj you're so good! the connection of all things is never so clear as when something huge like mt. pinatubo blew and changed the world - in some parts more than others. steven

bee - i see God in everything. the idea of God is something that evolves over time doesn't it. i now see God as the love that connects all things. not a dispensed love., but the actual love manifested as the spiritual, and the material and something else entirely nameless. steven

lizzy - then you're right up there with me and many others!!! steven

linda sue - i'm reading a book called "it's all about the bike" and the guy spends a chapter talking about portland and the amazing culture and especially bicycle culture that exists there and why and how. it's part of the work coming my way to help my own little city bring ideas from the clouds and into the commonaday lives of the people who call this home. my puffy white buddies are helping me along! steven

hi dulce! everything is so close - in my cosmology. and then there is no space, no time. everything simply is. steven
