becomes

Time is transformative of even the hardest and most immovable of objects, Steven, as you suggest here through these words and powerful images. thanks.

Time, yes, Elisabth. I'm thinking about water, how powerful it is, how patient it is, how persistent.

Do you see the dark eyes staring at you from out the second photo? :)

Both posts on 'waterworn' are up to your usual standard, ie, beautiful.

elisabeth you're right and in my own experience, that applies to people also. steven

reya - it just is! everywhere. in our bodies. everywhere outside our bodies. flowing, ebbing, washing against all manner of forms which soften and dissolve. i think that water works with everything, not against it. how about you?! steven

Drip by drip, water moves mountains!

Yes, water seems so gentle . . . but it eventually has its way with the hardest of substances. The sand in west Wales is the same bluish-gray as the slate of the cliffs.

valerianna - yes. it's amazing what water and wind can do over very long periods of time! steven

hello bee! i don't know that i've been right on the coast of wales - at least i don't think i've seen the cliffs. i have a vague memory of seeing anglesey from a distance. blue-grey. hmmmm. steven

These are great photos. I love the patterns water can make. Water looks all benign and relaxing, but its impact is so completely opposite. Kind of like one of my exes . . .
