As I said in last comment - you're on a roll!
Rays of golden light reaching from indigo clouds... and the rose colored water in the bottom photo - well, incredible. In fact, that bottom photo looks like a Monet water lily painting. The clouds given texture by ripples in the water looking like brushstrokes - amazing!

Lovely post.
Adore any kind of reflective shot, windows, cars, or water always surprising.
Plus I am such a cloud person.

cheers, parsnip

Fantastic contrast here, Steven, above and below: the ethereal sky above and the liquid water below, both flecked by fluffy cloud. Wonderful.

Do you live in paradise?

steven, I still can't get straight from your comment avatar on my blog to your blog. It doesn't matter so much to me because I have you in my bloglist, but there might be others who are put off by Google saying that 'this blog does not exist'.

I took a picture on the river once at sunset. the sky was cloudless and pink reflecting in the river which was also pink.

valerianna - when i got home and uploaded that picture i too was struck by the fortune of the ripples that resemble brushstrokes. there's probably software that can do that for you if you want but i don't own it - don't want to actually!! thanks for your kind comment. steven

angryparsnip i really appreciate clouds and they figure priminently in this blog. more and more i'm interested in reflections. so i'm learning about seeing them, then about phorographing them, then about knowing why they need to appear here. steven

eliaabeth thankyou! they were almost simultaneous - the sky as it is shown here and the puddle reflection. steven
