my wandering imagination

during the day
the sidewalks
become home to
puddles

and i find my
imagination
drifting
into the scenes
stored inside
their muddy brown bodies

and so
imagine
my boyish joy
when
one evening
i found myself
walking alongside
a man o' war

its masts
and rigging
grazing the
march sky

You have such a wonderful imagination, Steven, to see such a grand sight in an ordinary pot hole filled with water. How clever you are.

REflections reveal alternate worlds. They are never exactly the same as what they are allegedly reflecting.

I love what you see, Steven, and that you share it with us.

Worlds within worlds within worlds. I love that!
