I love this! It made me laugh out loud. My brain couldn't figure out what the photos were until the last photo. Hello brain! I love this...again! Genius!
There are things in this world hard to imagine and the problem is that most people don't try to imagine. You hit the nails on the head every time, Steven.
hi dan - no bike riding for this boy! i put the bikes away at the end of the frst week of december. i have one mounted on an indoor trainer. i carpool in the morning with a freind who teaches at my school. in the evening i walk the eight km back home. it takes about an hour and a quarter. it can be a cold walk for the first ten minutes or so but i have acquired the necessary clothing to ensure that nothing untwoard happens to my body!!! thanks for thinking of me my friend! steven
hi jenny - these are what i see when i look out my window in the morning. often they are hidden by a great cornice of snow which hangs over the edge of the roofline. it's good to laugh!!!! have a peaceful day. steven
hi abe!! well long-time visitors to the golden fish like you know that my summer is psnet (in part) imagining the shapes of clouds. in the winter it's the icicles i stare at!! it keeps the simple things rich and the rich things simple!! have a great day abe! steven
I lingered on the first shot thinking that it was from google earth and tried to figure out where it was- a fish shaped peninsula- where could that be and why have I not been there yet...
hi golden west - yes it's a bit of a walk and there is a predominantly uphill quality to much of it. two hills that really stretch the tendons but hey i'm in the early part of my fifties and i'll go with what i'm given!!! have a lovely evening. steven
hi willow - i know - they're funny quirky little bits of ice hanging off my house!! but i like to play games with what i see and share it here as you know. have a lovely evening at the manor. steven
hi kay - it really is!!! i would love to be able to share the quality of light at sunset that passes through these ice forms but it's really difficult so i settled for these shapes instead. have a lovely evening. steven
oh linda sue - i'm a little quirky that way. it's ice, slightly melted and then quickly frozen overnight into shapes that i see and there you have it!!! i'm a strange boy. have a lovely evening. steven
hi bee!! i returned to the front lines yesterday (monday). a windchill of minus twenty eight and the kids were out at both recesses sliding down the ice hills!!! today a lot milder - minus fifteen - and still lots of sliding and snowfort building!!! i'm glad that you were able to figure out this piece. steven

So, back to school tomorrow? Most of England will be having another snow day I think.
