dear world

lay your ribbons

throw your stars

slide your lights

across the skin of me

let me do
what i know to do
and ask no questions
tell no lies
be as real
as you imagine
i am

"dear world, burn me

gluttonous eyes of skin
stretched wide like a net
forcing the inevitability
of mass collision
and ingestion
until your whole self dilates
in response
as the world gets bigger..."

I gasped at the new header photo - eye celebration - did you go somewhere "HOT" for vacation or are you craving tulips?

And you words today sparkle with the same intensity as color.

hi valerianna - actually this was taken two days ago in toronto's kensington market . . . i was sitting inside the garden of a shop and looked up and there were all these lanterns and the branches and what you can't smell is the amazing bakery just across the street and then the chilean butcher's shop i went into to get some takeout empanada's . . . steven
