passage

my eyes turn to the very sky
the light falls from

tumbling past
soft-feathered birds

bursting through
dark green needled trees

flowing molten
along iced fingers

and settling in hummocks of pale pink blue
on the soft peace of sunday morning snow

Quite like sunday morning snow as I don't have to go out in it. Lovely words and photos as usual steven.

Even without your stunning photos I'd have seen what you meant through your aptly chosen words.

Exactly as the light is falling here in Weldon Spring this morning. Praise be...we have sun!

I linked your blog to mine this morning...another coup for me. Will wonders never cease?

Enjoy your Sunday, Steven.

jo well done!! i love that feeling of stumbling across something that i can figure out on my own. i love it!! i'm glad that you get the light also. it's such a gift at this time of year that little celebrations should break out whenever we get an eyeful!!! steven

I remember this feeling; utter elation that a beam of sun chose to light itself on me in the depths of a Northern winter. Beautifully captured, Steven.
