Hi Steven

I like the hard and the soft, the enduring and the impermanent, the straight and the curved...the light and the shadows...the colour and the absence of colour...the living and the dessicated...the heavy and the light...Ah so much in an image...

Happy days

good morning (here) delwyn!! the enduring and the impermanent were in my mind as i laid these stalks down. they held bright orange flowers that i posted here a month and a half ago that people were so happy with!!! now they are returning to the earth to begin the cycle as something else. your comment helped me see more. thanks so much!!!! have a lovely day by the river. steven

Stunning photos full of warmth and the passage of time. Soft, smooth and hard all at once. Lovely.

well bt you're popping up here there and everywhere! lovely!!! this was a little moment. the lily's faded and died and then too did their stalks so i laid them down on the riverstone bed down by our swimming pool. and then stepped back and thought about the treasure that those lilies gave this summer. here's the end. steven
