Thank, you, Steven. That's a lovely Japanese image of Washington D.C. I like to think of this as INTERdependence Day. Truth is, we are really not independent at all; we're all connected.

hi pam and thanks for visiting. i've been writing here for hmmm lemme see now, since august 27th of 2007 so nearly two years. i'll be writing my 100th post on my birthday in early august. it's huge fun and i write about all sorts depending on my mood or what i am interested in. i love learning as i go so you get to see the messy results of that whole process! see you again! steven

hi amelia and welcome. the artwork . . . i know, i'm absolutely blown away! one of the things about writing this blog that i love is discovering ideas, music, artwork/artists and sharing them. my other blog "flow" which is linked off this one is more about ideas that are illustrated by art and writing. thanks for visiting. see you again. steven

pam, did i say 100th? i actually meant 1000th! my other blog "flow" which is linked off the golden fish page, is slowly melding in with the golden fish. "flow" is more about my inner work. it's really lovely to write for it but i knew when it appeared this year that it would eventually become part of the golden fish and sure enough, i can feel and see that it is!!! steven
