like a tangerine-coloured pathway, snow washes over the snow in my backyard.
i don't have the stats but i know from the way i feel that there hasn't been a whole lot of sun recently. this makes sense given the seasonal cloud cover, the fact that the sun is fairly far away - further than usual given the time of year - and that i spend more time inside because it's way cold!
happily this is all changing as the sun draws closer to us and stays up in the sky longer each day!!! my vitamin d depleted body begins to hungrily hoover back and store the lovely stuff and my poor eyes which are slitty from squinting in the half-light we've been passing off as daytime will begin to open a little wider as well!
the sun is the source of absolutely everything there is. it's an amazing relationship because i'm not sure what we give back. perhaps we need to learn more about our shiny friend that gives all of its energy unconditionally to us to do what we wish with it.
