roald amundsen's perspective

i couldn't leave my earlier posting about scott of the antarctic alone, and in my rooting around the 'net i came across something that you might find interesting.

for those of you who (like myself) are very familiar with the story of robert falcon scott’s tragic expedition to the south pole but are not as familiar with roald amundsen, i have discovered that amundsen’s own telling of the norwegian antarctic expedition can be accessed through the generosity of the university of adelaide library where you can either read or download the entire book at no cost!!
