it's early march. i just walked my eight k's home through a mix of ice and meltwater on the paths. the city is braced for another "winter storm" that is supposed to contain ice pellets, and a lot of snow. at home tonight i have brian eno's ambient music - several discs of it - lined up in the cd changer. far from the original "mood music" that denoted ambience, this is music made by a clever person, clever being synonymous with creative and thoughtful and intuitive and insightful and available to whatever qualities are ascribed to music.
so, for a peaceful break away from whatever “it all” looks, sounds, or feels like to you here are two videos made to accompany some of brian eno’s ambient music. . . .
