metamorphosis two by philip glass

this is such a simply beautiful piece of music that rather than be all clever and well-researched i'm going to let you hear it and make your own judgement and experience your experiencing of it without the mediation / moderation of the golden fish research department.

metamorphosis two: philip glass . . .

When this piece first began, I was reminded of "Moonlight Sonata", which I think is quite lovely. But then, as it continued, the left hand droning -- a bit too loudly -- on and on and on and on with the same incessant two notes (every so often two other notes), I was tempted to either stop the play or leave the room. The middle portion, I guess trying to portray the sound of the wind, was somewhat pleasing.
