the ikea kitchen build (part 2)

the kitchen build continues . . . there's a strange and palpable mixture of glee and tension in the air. this is apparently quite common in renovations . . . .

here's wendy putting down the new hardwood floor. she's using an air compressor-driven staple gun. the flooring is solid bamboo - chosen for its appearance and its sustainability . . . 

 this is my buddy scotia. scotia provides the training for the new to us power tools and does electrical, plumbing and helps with heavy lifting as needed!
