the worlds i live in

the little worlds
under my feet

that i feel
as surely
as the clouds overhead

know more of me

than i do
of myself

It's the quiet knowing I want, Steven. Thank you for showing it this way, your way.

i wonder how much of you what is under your feet knows? your animal self, yes, but what of your spirit? or perhaps your spirit is so calm it can reside quietly? for this i have much to learn.

I may still be asleep having gotten up at 6am today to start the semester, it was NOT my summer rising time! So, possibly that explains me reading the first line as:
the little "words" under my feet.... which gave the whole thing an interesting slant. I like that I have both readings now, and have a clearer idea of what you were after and how the photo related...! I thought how true it is that words know me - as when I write them, I learn about myself. But, alas, worlds, too and clouds above!

ruth - the quiet knowing - there's so much noise in the way i know the world and i try to filter it out when i draw it back through my reflecting. steven

ellen - yeah. what does the world - the little worlds that collectively make this world on the physical plane and then the spiritual world that is surely embedded in and sustaining the physical world - what does it know of our spirt and our spirit of all of the worlds. steven

ellen - in the summer - well anytime as much as possible. to feel the feelable, the feelings, the direct messages that pass through the sensitive sole. steven

Wise clouds, knowing clouds. This photo looks like you might have taken it of the front walk at Willow Manor...
