waiting

this small pale blue leaf
dotted with melted snowflakes
waiting for winter

and beautiful thoughtful words from my generous friend dan

jewels reflecting the sky
gives upside down smile

dan that's a stunner of a haiku. wow!!! i wanted this little leaf to have a small tight piece of writing with it and a haiku came to mind but i have so little practice writing them that it hasn't got the thought loop i love about really good haiku. thanks for yours. steven

I never thought about melting snowflakes before looking so lovely and round...I always think of them as slush. :)

Thanks for this one.
