looking

looking for love

a strange passion is moving in my head.
my heart has become a bird
which searches in the sky.
every part of me goes in different directions.
is it really so
that the one i love is everywhere?

Light in all directions: it's enlightening, Steven. And Rumi as ever inspirational.

rick yes he does: it's an ecstatic expression of the joy of repeatedly approaching the same revelation in all aspects of life. i like philip glass' response to repetition: repetition is a form of change. perhaps in experiencing something from many different perspectives we get a richer understanding of it. steven

elisabeth - this was hanging on a wall in a hallway of an amazing museum i just went through in ottawa. i couldn't help feeling the metaphor . . .and knew that rumi's writing would enhance it. steven
