glassless windows

i
whisper
in the hollow spaces
the glassless
openings

i hold
the ways
open for
those formless
desires

 as they
bend and sweep
and curl
like fingers
around the cold hard bricks
of your sudden
emptiness

The image reminds me of the ancient library facade at Ephesus.... this building is not quite as beautiful, but the lonliness is similar.

This is a theme, depending on how you read it, that I'm not used to reading from you. But it is a beautiful poem! Almost an "efficient agony" moment! :)
