I love any little reminder of the season just past, or the season ahead which is why I look forward to the first crocuses. (Croci? What is the correct plural?)
Steven I have NO special pull with the powers that be! I always say that the weather predicts me, not the other way around. But if I were your students, I wouldn't let that stop me from doing a snow dance. I figure these gestures can't hurt anything, and they keep us busy and creative while we wish the weather would conform to our needs.
Seriously I don't ever do weather magic. That's outta my hands. But thank you for your confidence in me!

I especially like how the beads of sugary ice have formed along the leaf's crisped cinnamon edge.

So beautiful I had to read it aloud...several times. Sigh.
