there's a chance of rain today! i love the rain - especially warm rain but it's too soon in the year for that. i'll settle for the sights and sounds all the same. thinking of rain and the recent post on the poetry of sohrab sepehri got me digging deeper into the beautiful writing of this man.
"let us clean our eyes; let us see in another way; under the rain, we should see our friends; under the rain, we should look for love".
i saw not two trees become foe.
i saw not a willow,
sell its shade to the earth.
benevolently it shares,
the elm its branch to the raven.
wherever there is a leaf,
my passion blossoms.
