today i will share thanksgiving dinner with wendy and my children. i am so grateful for the very simple wonders that have arrived in my life, not the least of which is this simple occasion of sharing food and laughter together. happy thanksgiving!

ride for refuge 2014

here are some photos from yesterday's fundraising ride . . . a very big thankyou to those who supported my ride through donations or through kind thoughts . . .

fundraising ride day

well the weather appears to have settled a bit after the rains and winds of the night so it might still be cold and raining apparently. but of course! i have a fundraising bike ride to participate in!!!

what will sustain me in part is that i will have the pleasure of riding bicycles with a couple of great friends as part of the ride for refuge. i am joining Michael VanDerHerberg and Devon Code (and possibly a few more people) raising money for the bridge youth centre in downtown peterborough.

here's why i would love for you to support this:...

- the bridge does good and important work in the downtown peterborough community with marginalized kids


- my good friend carlo raponi works there and he is a truly good man!
