a visit to the petroglyphs

we decided to visit the peterborough petroglyphs which are about one hour north of where i live. they are powerful, fascinating, and of course sacred to the ojibway who have called this area home for at least fifteen thousand years.

while we there we decided to hike a trail that runs for five and half kilometres through marshland and around a small lake. it was beautiful. here are a few of the pictures i took while on that walk.
