rounding little lake on my bike i passed this line of yellow tulips
mouths pursed
each in a row
expectant
and i wondered at this
why?
why rows?
i put my bike down and lay on my tummy on the ground and watched the sky change from their perspective. it carried rain this morning and then . . .
It needed a straight row to underline the sky!:)
