passage

my eyes turn to the very sky
the light falls from

tumbling past
soft-feathered birds

bursting through
dark green needled trees

flowing molten
along iced fingers

and settling in hummocks of pale pink blue
on the soft peace of sunday morning snow

  1. Quite like sunday morning snow as I don't have to go out in it. Lovely words and photos as usual steven.

  11. I remember this feeling; utter elation that a beam of sun chose to light itself on me in the depths of a Northern winter. Beautifully captured, Steven.
