Hi Steven-- Almost like a delicate and transient Japanese water painting. I don't know why I'm so attracted to rocks. I don't think I've ever seen an ugly one. Thank you for capturing this Wabi Sabi moment. Best, Kathleen
hello butternut - we have several of these stones around the house. these stones were down by our pool where almost all the plants have dried. i noticed this one little plant's shadow cast over the pebble. have a peaceful day. steven
hello weaver, i agree. so much of what is small and apaprently inconsequential in nature is so filled with meaning. have a lovely day in the dale. steven
The stones say a story... the visual is very soothing. And indeed, what would the heart have to create, if we were to be the one we love... it is a confusing thought for me...
My mother used to collect and hold stones like these. They were her 'worry stones.' Beautiful. Something so simple can be so soothing.
