  1. My mother used to collect and hold stones like these. They were her 'worry stones.' Beautiful. Something so simple can be so soothing.

    Almost like a delicate and transient Japanese water painting. I don't know why I'm so attracted to rocks. I don't think I've ever seen an ugly one. Thank you for capturing this Wabi Sabi moment.

  5. hello butternut - we have several of these stones around the house. these stones were down by our pool where almost all the plants have dried. i noticed this one little plant's shadow cast over the pebble. have a peaceful day. steven
