Steven: I loved the video - the sound came out garbled a bit during my viewing. But that was okay, because I so enjoyed watching the sense of wonder, awe, reverence and joy on Sagan's face. Kind of reminds me of steven from The Golden Fish!! The images Sagan was enjoying were beautiful too - but could not take my eyes of of him.

hey liza - well i've long thought that ufos are actually just us in the future returning for a look-see. i've also long thought that time doesn't really exist - except as a construct to help our brains understand physical events. but really it doesn't matter beause here we are in an amazing place!! and that's al good!!! steven

Wonderful! When I see or read things like this, I am reminded of the many parallels between advanced eastern thought and the frontiers of western physics. This should not surprise me: both systems of understanding the cosmos are looking at and thinking about the same reality.
hello margaret, yes there are hundreds of golden fish brain cells working feverishly 24/7 scrutinizing and analysing all manner of materials that cross their path!!! i really enjoy stephen hawking's thinking, david bohm's as well, and of course carl sagan was there to bring it all out to the people through tv which was hugely important. i'm glad you enjoyed this!!!! steven

hello bonnie - i wonder if the garbled sound was your first listening to a voice processed through a vocoder? for that is what they did to make the voices of sagan and hawking sound like they were singing. i do see this world and indeed all of creation through awe struck eyes. i can't help that and i'm glad it's that way. you know what i mean?!!!! it's not raining here yet, but it will soon. i love that! have a peaceful evening. steven

delwyn . . . orange lipstick - well i dunno about carl's makeup artist or personal wishes but i got to thinking. have i ever kissed a girl with orange lipstick? not yet!! i don't know that he auditioned for star trek. i know that at the time he did his really big work he wanted his thinking to be as current as that of star trek and so that might explain the images (which are probably twenty or thirty years old). i'd love to be on star trek - i never watched it myself - but just to be inside the idea. i think he achieved both to a limited degree. there was a brief period where it was possible to be both. albeit compromising both roles/positions in the process. steven
