a favourite spot (2)

i love the autumn for its colours . . . especially when they they cluster on lawns or in rivers . . .

this is one of my favourite spots to stop and let the noise of the world dull to a low rumble . . . .

my mum . . .

my mum is my anchor as i navigate a world i was somewhat prepared for
but not entirely committed to.
today is her eighty fourth birthday . . . . she is simply, an amazing person.

as i have the privilege of learning about her life and gaining a more solid understanding of how she is who she has become, i am compelled to wish for many many more years with her to share the unfolding of each of our lives . . . .

i love you mum

velography

a friend defined the act of taking a photograph while perched on a bicycle as "velography". i like it.

this is me, early in the morning not far from the river. i believe that that photographer is my good friend, michael . . .

sitting in a tree . . .

on my way home from school recently,  i rode through a light rain and decided to spend some time by the river sitting on a big old tree that has likely seen better times ... and harder times also . . . .
