hi kay! no, schools don't close for this sort of thing. the buses get cancelled which means at my school that three fifths of the students don't arrive. however, the teaching staff is expected to report to school. it makes for some hair-raising and hair tearing adventures getting to and from schools!!!! this particular snowfall was thirty three cm's in one day. i guess that's around thirteen inches or so . . . steven
yup. just the school buses stopped for the day. the rest of everything carried on as usual. the house is new to me . . . early september. it's 81 years old and very lovely to live in and i am in an amazing close-knit fun neighbourhood! steven
wow thats a lot of snow.....is your school closed....in england the whole place comes to a halt with two inches of the white stuf!!
