contain all they are 
and all that they are intended to become
then they unfurl
and become
little more
than they already are
in substance
if not in form

    perhaps it is
    but the form tricks us
    into thinking the potential is smaller.

    (ha! but i fight myself toward the small i. ???)

  2. erin i think in the physically manifested there's a finitude that ends with how we wish to be perceived and some of that is chemically determined and some is a reflection of our knowing of our physical selves . . . but the not quantifiable - the formless - is entirely connected to the entirety of love which is what connects everything . . .steven
