ReplyDeletepregnant with moonbeams ... ooh wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThis captures the mood and the moment. I felt as if I was out there in the moonlight, too. I love the silence of the night with punctuation of sounds.
ReplyDeleteLast night, I sat out in candlelight.
yes ellen - the evening of day seven of a nine-day fundraising cycling trip around lake ontario - eleven hundred kilometres - scenes and moments will pop up here every so often. steven
ReplyDeletedeborah - i'm glad you like this. steven
ReplyDeleteaguja - the campsite was quiet - except for laughter and the crackling fire. it's so hard to take photographs of the moon. if your hand jiggles even the slightest, then the moon blurs. i did a few light paintings with that effect but they weren't worthy of much. steven
ReplyDeletei am slightly green with envy of your fab photos of that moon...i tried the same on nearly the same day as you and failed....i need to ponder on your gorgeous header....it reminds me of.....its a breath away....its beautiful..x
ReplyDeletekay - i feel fortunate to have the pictures and to be able to share them. the header picture was taken in upper new york state not far from rochester actually. it's in a small wetland that i spent a few hours exploring. steven
ReplyDeleteYou should put together an album of headers, They have the wow factor and it goes without saying that I love your moon.
ReplyDeleteAre you all set for a new term?
valerie thanks for that! i keep the headers in a folder. i've never thought about sharing them any other way. steven
