i like to go out for coffee sometimes.
americano's are a special pleasure.
when i am in my hometown, this is where i like to sit and enjoy coffee.
see the little boathouse near the top of the picture.
it's a small cafe called the silver bean.
it sits by a river that flows through the middle of my town.
i always meet people i know ... just by sitting there.
a simple pleasure.
lovely view and good coffee are a great pleasure! And I love your header!
ReplyDeleteWow! What a location for a coffee shop!
ReplyDeleteAnd a good coffee is a very good thing indeed.
What an idyllic place for a café! I'd love to while away an hour or two there!
ReplyDeletehi jeanette! in the summertime my life is very simple and the small pleasures like coffee by the river are amplified! the header is in a wetland i walked through in upper new york state while on a bike trip around lake ontario a week and a bit ago. steven
ReplyDeletetitus - it's so beautiful there and in three minutes you're on the main street of my city. steven
ReplyDeletealaine - if you visit here i'll take you there!!! steven
ReplyDeleteI could sit there and gaze ... and would order 'café con leche' which, i am sure, would arrive just as I like it ... and I would dream on.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing a special place, Steven.
I shall be back commenting at the end of the month.
¡Hats luego!
there are places like this? there are people like you, easy in their being, the river passing by? (it all sounds so wonderful, as though i read it in a book.)

It looks like a lovely place to sit and watch the river go by. There's a river in my city as well that draws me to it.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great place to sit and enjoy the day.
ReplyDeleteNice little cafe on the river! We don't even have a traffic light, let alone a sweet, little cafe. But the next town over has "the center of the universe" or the center of the hilltowns, really, where we get fresh organic food and chocolate and good coffee served in mugs made by local folks I know. Its a feel good place where if I need a social fix, I can go there for a cup of tea and see 2 or 3 folks I know. Its perfect! I'd like it even more if the river ran closer... its about a half a mile down the road. HA,
ReplyDeleteblogger has decided I'm too wordy in my comment today, my word verification thingie is "inuff"!
What a wonderful location for a coffeehouse. I think I would spent a part of every day there, as a ritual of sorts.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful header photo.
aguja - the food is simple - vegan for the most part - the baked goods are extraordinary, and the coffee variants are highly motivating! then there 's the people who work there - lovely, truly lovely. then there are the people who pass through. oh my what a place to spend good time. steven
