the air of heaven

why, if the soul can fling the dust aside,
and naked on the air of heaven ride,
is't not a shame -- is't not a shame for him
so long in this clay suburb to abide?

  3. Thank you for this- I tend to forget those whom I have loved when i was young- I had to memorize the Rubaiyat
at one point and make a collage...how could one ever forget all of that? Thanks for the very sweet reminder, though I will forget again so do not hesitate to post more of Omar! Then I will send this very same response most likely because- I forget...
