Wave or particle... such a mystery—just over the horizon of our ability to comprehend ultimate reality, at least in ordinary waking consciousness. Much easier to comprehend is the long now, the only time that ever was or ever will be: NOW. So few words evoke so much thought.

it's a borrowed term ruth. the long now foundation actually posits projects and possibilities that extend over very long periods of time. i like to use "the long now" as a label to encapsulate the notion of the ever expnading moment. steven
