small fires

tonight a small luxury - watching the day pass into evening
all the soft losses
the tender releasing
the coloured unfurling

this was such an evening

the myriad formless pieces of a day
gathering together

how these soft bodies
these tender hopes
kindle small fires

  1. Chilling, Steven. The beautiful photos, the tender words, and the perfect music to glue their story together.

    How do you do it?

  11. Lovely, gentle evening in a moment of grace, and those soft clouds getting pinker and rosier by the moment: a small fire will be kindled tonight, and new thoughts and patterns will speak to us. Matchless post, Steven. me

  13. dulce - there are some evenings when the sky creates itself and if you sit back and watch, it's predictable in the way beautiful things are. steven
