let's pass through dawn's soft orange fingers
and lie in the shade of sleepy trees

let's cross the line of our intentions
and make a world within our dreams

  1. OK! Let's do that! YES! Soft orange fingers sound warm and soothing about now.

  2. linda sue there was so much more to this poem when i wrote it but these words tripped off my mind without a thought and felt like they were part of a song. in fact, i wrote the whole piece as a song but when i read it over i was so helplessly distanced by it that i deleted all but these lines. steven

  6. bonnie - the northern northern hemispheric residents are hungry for the soft colours, the warm colours. a few more days of daylight shrinkage and then the great orb in the sky will begin its return and bring back all the colours and warmth that have been hiding. steven
