triangles of light;
soft fractals
of a sun
i watch
climb across
a milky blue threadbare sky
a sky
as washed-out
and thin
as old sheets
light
falls
on autumn's dried husks
also
fallen
on the winter blue
of a river pebble
a morning kiss
for reya and jo
Beautiful verse, elegant in its simplicity, much like the natural light of which it speaks. I love the photograph.

The images knock me out (in the softest, gentlest kind of way).
ReplyDeleteHow sensual with the threadbare sky and thin old sheets, that cold winter blue warmed by a morning kiss. A beautiful juxtaposition.

Exquisite imagery, Steven. You capture the beauty of the approaching Winter perfectly.
