ReplyDeleteelisabeth - it was fairly sudden this year. there are always trees that turn well before the others but it seems as if the surface of this part of the earth made a big decision and kabloeey!!! it's truly beautiful. steven

ReplyDeleteThanks, Steven - we don't really get a visual autumn here in Auckland - stays so green all year round and many of the deciduous trees hang onto their leaves until the new ones push them off - so to see your trees shedding their opulent gowns is really lovely.
