You too, steven. I listen to images as well as thoughts and sounds. There is so much we can learn by being still and silent for at least part of our day, and so much we miss by being noisy and busy.
elisabeth - well a lot of life has settled and much more has emerged. letting go of lots of expectations has been a big part of this part of my life's process! steven
friko - i use my daily bike rides as bridges but the distractions of staying alive make a little noise in their own right. otherwise, it's not loud but there are lots of things going on. steven
Expectations can make us blind and deaf and sometimes very sad, that is for sure- disappointments can not exist without expectations...Still...most difficult.
linda sue - well the ideal i believe is to live without expectation. that means a process of letting go of all that you have supposed to be. then you can move on into all that is. steven

I love the header picture steven, and the thoughts in the post are very interesting. I think I've seen that change through your posts, and the openess that is now shining like an autumn leaf with the late sun through it.
hey dan - my brother drove through california a week or so ago - among his stories, the redwoods. one day i would love to sit at the foot of one of those big brothers. steven
hi titus! thanks for the kind comments. autumn is my favourite time of year - and i'm pretty good with all the rest of it also but autumn has qualities about it that are mirrored in myself so i connect more easily with its features. i'm glad you enjoyed the images of a southern ontario fall. steven
